The improvement of the quality of certified organic quinoa is the focus of this DEG-funded develoPPP.de project, which is being carried out by the Bolivian company Quinoabol SRL, based in Oruro, in cooperation with numerous small farmers. The main content of the project is the installation of pilot irrigation systems at 25 selected farms in order to counteract crop fluctuations and failures caused by the increasing drought caused by climate change. The project is accompanied by numerous training sessions on topics related to the cultivation, harvesting and storage of quinoa.
