SINDAN Organic SRL is one of the most important processing and trading companies for Bolivian quinoa. In order to secure its certified organic raw product in the long term, the El Alto-based company initiated a develoPPP.de project in cooperation with DEG and Dr. Herrmann Consulting 2020, which aims to support smallholder quinoa producers in the remote regions of the Altiplano. Improved cultivation and harvesting methods using modern technology and expanded know-how are the content of this two-year project, which secures a sustainable income for numerous smallholder families and the company’s market position.
